Dont Let It Shine!

This is a poem I made with some friend it goes to the tune of Let it Go from the movie Frozen.

Don't Let It Shine

The grass glows green in my yard tonight
Not a flurry to be seen
A kingdom of heat and sun shine
And I don't want to be queen

The sun is burning like a toaster inside
All the lakes and trees, they look all dried

The lights to bright, nothing can be seen
Be a good girl and always wear sun screen
Conceal don't feel don't let it burn
Well now I'm burnt!

Don't let it shine, Don't let it shine
Can't bare it anymore
Don't let it shine, Don't let it shine
Get inside and drink some more

I don't care
What they're going to say
Just 'cause they're playing out
Doesn't mean I have to play

Paragraph of the week!

The weekend is here and it is time for my weekly story!
I decide that it would be cool to write a paragraph of a story I am writing every weekend!
so here it is:

The woods were cold and dark It felt like nothing could live there but every one knows that something does. Joe, Sarah and Lily where brother and sisters, who had wandered into Sharp Creek Forest (which was known to be haunted). The group heard nothing but their soggy sneakers on mushy mud. Suddenly they felt like they were being watched they turned around to see nothing that's when they couldn't hear the mud sound but the sound of  scraping feet against a sidewalk. They look up and saw a huge rickety, old mansion.

That's all!

Forest

Forest

The tree as tall as the sun
With sparkling emerald leaves
Shade everyone
Enjoying beauty
And in the night
Glowing bugs buzz
As if they're dancing

Green trees, Green trees

The shine is dim
But beautiful
Like a very old light bulb

Shining dim, Shining dim
The peaceful chirping of
Crickets and bugs
Keep the night awake
Awake, awake

Feeling of mystical magic
Float in my head
While wondering how beautiful it is
